A jury convicted Randy Shawn Brown of murder. The jury assessed punishment at sixty-five years' confinement and a $10,000 fine. Appellant contends the trial court should have granted a mistrial because the probable cause affidavit supporting his arrest warrant was false. He also contends the trial court abused its discretion when it allowed the reading to the jury of a part of a witness's testimony that exceeded the scope of the jury...
