This maritime cargo damage matter comes before this Court after a two-day bench trial on March 3 and 4, 1992. Post-trial briefs were submitted prior to oral argument on May 4, 1992. Plaintiff, Plywood Panels, Inc., ("PPI") seeks to recover damages to cargo shipments carried by defendant carrier, Hyundai Merchant Marine Co., Ltd. ("Hyundai"), from Indonesian ports to United States East Coast ports, including Norfolk, Virginia...
