Defendant was charged in one indictment with theft in the first degree, ORS 164.055, committed on February 10, 1990; in a separate indictment he was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, ORS 164.135, criminal mischief in the first degree, ORS 164.365, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor, ORS 475.995, all committed on March 20, 1990.
