Willie E. Chism was charged by bill of information with first degree robbery, La. R.S. 14:64.1. He was tried by jury and found guilty as charged by a vote of 10-2. He was later adjudicated an habitual offender and sentenced to 25 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
