Appellant was charge by indictment for the offense of delivery of methamphetamine in an amount less than 28 grams1 alleged to have been committed on July 17, 1987. On February 8, 1988, in the 54th District Court of McLennan County, Texas, appellant was found guilty by a jury and on the following day was sentenced to 99 years confinement in the Texas Department...
