On December 26, 1989, the circuit court of McLean County, following a hearing, denied defendant Frederick Yarbrough's petition for post-conviction relief. Defendant now appeals.

On July 16, 1986, defendant was found guilty by a jury of committing multiple criminal offenses. This court affirmed his convictions for home invasion, heinous battery, robbery, aggravated battery, and residential burglary...
