A jury found defendant Craig Muzard guilty of murder (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, par. 9-1(a)(1), (2)), and he was sentenced to 20 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. On appeal, defendant contends that his conviction must be reversed because (1) the State violated the trial court's in limine order, engaged in conduct designed to prejudice defendant and his counsel, and misled the jury in closing...
