OPINION

NYE, Chief Justice.

A jury convicted appellant, Richard Ordonez, of the offense of deadly assault on an employee of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. The jury also found the allegations of two prior felony convictions were true and sentenced appellant to life imprisonment. We affirm the trial court's judgment.
