Appellant, Carolyn Williams, was employed as a bus driver for appellee, Fort Worth Independent School District ("FWISD"). After sustaining injuries on November 4, 1988, from a collision while performing her duties, appellant filed a workers compensation claim which was settled between the parties on June 12, 1989.
