These actions arise out of the alleged breach of Aircraft Maintenance Service Agreements ("Maintenance Agreements") entered into by the parties in 1986 and 1989. Plaintiff-Respondent Pan American World Airways, Inc. ("Pan Am") is currently a debtor-in-possession, having filed a petition for reorganization in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on January 8, 1991.
