Gary Best was convicted of the malice murder of Thomas Anthony Moore, and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He was also convicted of, and sentenced for, the aggravated assault of Earl Graham, Sr.; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (the murder of Moore); and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (the aggravated assault of Graham).1
