Plaintiff, David Hartlein, is employed by defendant, Illinois Power Company, and is currently receiving total temporary disability payments under the Workers' Compensation Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) as a result of a work-related injury.
