On February 16, 1990, after a six week jury trial, defendant Frederick A. Gross was found guilty of conspiracy and securities law violations and defendant William Michael Searcy guilty of insider trading and mail fraud as charged in a Superseding Indictment filed July 26, 1989.

Currently before me is defendants' joint motion to set aside the verdict or in the alternative...
