This case involves statutory construction of section 1643 of the federal Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), regarding liability for credit card use. 15 U.S.C.A. § 1643. The Court of Appeals held the card issuer has a duty to mitigate damages to the holder of a credit card account for misuse of a credit card by an authorized user. WEB, Inc. v.
