Saul Guzman was convicted by the State of Louisiana for possession of cocaine and sentenced to serve seven years. The state appellate court affirmed the conviction and sentence in an unpublished opinion. State v. Guzman, 536 So.2d 847 (La.Ct.App.1988). The state Supreme Court denied a writ of review. State v.
