Plaintiff's decedent, John P. Reynolds, was employed as a groundskeeper for defendant Woodlawn Cemetery and Crematory Company (Woodlawn) at its cemetery. On July 18, 1986, decedent was riding on top of the cab of a flat-bed truck owned by Woodlawn. The truck was being driven by a co-worker on cemetery grounds.
