Appellants Pele Defense Fund, Robert Petricci, Steve Philips, Gregory Pommerenk, Deborah Pommerenk, Delan Perry, and Jennifer Perry (Appellants)1 appeal from the Hawaii County Planning Commission's (Commission) award of a geothermal resource permit (the permit) to Respondent Puna Geothermal Venture (Respondent) on October 3, 1989.2 We affirm.
