PARKER, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency of $22,088 in petitioners' 1985 Federal income tax. After concessions,1 the sole issue remaining for decision is whether the entire $55,680 paid by petitioner Richard J. Abood to his former spouse in 1985, or only a portion of that amount, is deductible as alimony under section 215.
