The issue in this case is the propriety of the Queens County District Attorney's Grand Jury practice whereby the Grand Jury stenographers, instead of providing the nisi prius court with a complete transcript of the Grand Jury proceedings upon a motion to inspect Grand Jury minutes, simply replace the transcribed charges with preprinted charge sheets.
