James Raymond McConnell appeals his sentence following guilty verdicts on two counts of being a felon in possession of firearms, five counts of illegal transportation of firearms, and one count of distribution of amphetamine chloride. McConnell was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment on each of the seven firearms charges and to 33 months on the drug charge, with all sentences to run concurrently.
