This is an action in conversion by the plaintiff, Gretna State Bank (Bank), against the defendant, Cornbelt Livestock Company. The petition alleged that from April 3 through December 5, 1985, the defendant, which is a marketing agency, sold dairy cattle owned by Gordon Schuemann in which the plaintiff had a perfected security interest.
