Appellant Robert Alan Lehikoinen was charged by complaint in Carlton County with fifth degree assault in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.224, subd. 1(2) (1988) (intentional infliction of bodily harm). After a trial to the court sitting without a jury, appellant, representing himself (pro se), was found guilty as charged.
