FACTS AND PROCEEDINGS BELOW

Johnny Mack Blair pled guilty to conspiracy to manufacture, possess, and distribute amphetamine. Before accepting the plea, the district court addressed Blair and informed him that he could receive a maximum sentence of twenty years incarceration and a fine of $1,000,000. There was no mention of supervised release. The court sentenced Blair to seventy-seven months of incarceration and five years of supervised release...
