Seeking monetary damages, plaintiff Pamela Ludwig filed this wrongful discharge action against defendant C & A Wallcoverings, Inc., d/b/a Kinney Wallcoverings ("Kinney"). Although Ludwig initially filed suit in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Kinney removed the case to federal court based on diversity jurisdiction.
