Defendant appeals by leave granted from the trial court's denial of his motion to set aside the property settlement portion of the default judgment of divorce. We reverse.

Plaintiff filed a complaint for divorce on August 21, 1986. No appearance was filed in behalf of defendant. A default was filed on September 15, 1986, and proof of service of the default on defendant was filed on September 25...
