The parties to this litigation were divorced by decree of October 25, 1988, after seventeen years of marriage. The chancellor found that certain bank accounts were marital property, and thus equally divided the proceeds therefrom between the parties. The chancellor also awarded appellee a portion, based on a percentage formula, of appellant's retirement fund, as well as alimony in the amount of $350 per month...
