The United States commenced this action in rem in order to forfeit and condemn to its use a number of parcels of real property pursuant to 21 U.S.C. § 881 by filing a verified complaint on July 21, 1988, and an amended complaint on November 7, 1988. Warrants in rem were issued by this Court on both of these dates and seizure warrants were also obtained on these dates for the nine parcels subject...
