Defendant was convicted by a jury of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, MCL 750.84; MSA 28.279, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, MCL 750.226; MSA 28.423, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). Sentenced on June 15, 1988, to two to ten years in prison on the first count, six months to five years on the second count, and to a mandatory two years for felony-firearm...
