The principal question raised by this appeal is whether a corporation is a "person" qualified to petition for expungement pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:52-1, et seq. The trial court concluded that only "natural" persons qualify under the statute, and therefore dismissed XYZ Corporation's1 petition to expunge an indictment returned against it which had been dismissed. We reverse....
