Defendant, Raymond Sanders, was charged by bill of information with one count of distribution of marijuana and one count of distribution of cocaine, violations of LSA-R.S. 40:966 and 40:967. He was found guilty as charged after a trial by jury, and sentenced to concurrent terms of three years at hard labor on the marijuana conviction and six years at hard labor on the cocaine conviction.
