This matter is before the court on plaintiff's motion to quash subpoena of defendant. Plaintiff, Paula Smith, was employed by defendant, Auto Club of Southern Pennsylvania (AAA), for 10 years. After Smith left her job, an employee of AAA initiated a criminal investigation of Smith by reporting a theft from AAA. Smith was arrested, but the result of the trial was an acquittal.
