The Court has before it a petition for an award of attorney's fees under the Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA) 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d)(1)(A). As the prevailing party in this action, the Plaintiff seeks to recover attorney's fees of $2,996.80. The Plaintiff requests this fee based on 31.1 hours of labor compensated at a rate of $75 an hour, but increased by 28.48% or $21.36 an hour to reflect the increase in the cost...
