This matter came up for bifurcated liability and damage trial during July and August of 1989. Plaintiff brings suit as assignee of the claims of a failed state bank for attorney malpractice. Plaintiff alleged the Aurora Bank's lawyers alleges negligently failed to uncover and stop an ongoing fraud perpetrated against the bank.
