Russell Hadley was jury-convicted of sodomy, § 566.060,1 first degree robbery, § 569.020, and armed criminal action, § 571.015. Thereafter, he was sentenced as a first offender to a term of 30 years' imprisonment for each offense, with the sentences to run consecutively. The offenses in question consisted of breaking into the mobile home of an 82 year-old widow, robbing her after threatening her with a knife...
