The plaintiff, Mr. Jackie Short, seeks review in this court, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), of a determination by the Secretary of Health and Human Services ("Secretary") denying him disability benefits. The plaintiff has exhausted his administrative remedies, and now argues that the Secretary's decision is not supported by substantial evidence.
