Plaintiff, Catherine Smith, brought suit against defendant, Jerome Moore, and his alleged insurer, State Farm Insurance Company, for injuries she sustained as the result of an automobile accident that occurred when the defendant's vehicle struck a vehicle in which she was a passenger.
