Plaintiff Laurence Conrad (hereinafter Conrad) appeals a judgment of the district court in favor of defendants, granting summary judgment and dismissing his case with prejudice. We reverse.

Conrad was injured in November of 1982 and, one week later, retained the legal services of R. Glenn Cater to litigate his Jones Act claim against Odeco, Inc. That contract, dated November 30, 1982, held in pertinent part that Conrad agreed to pay attorney...
