Grace Offshore Co. ("Grace Offshore") employed plaintiff Floyd J. Stevenson on an outer continental shelf fixed-platform as a roustabout. On January 16, 1988, Grace Offshore commissioned Stevenson and other roustabouts to unload drilling equipment from the M/V POINT LIBERTY while it was docked alongside the platform.
