Plaintiff David Taylor brings this civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1982) against six City of Elmhurst police officers (collectively "defendants") for injuries arising out of his arrest for driving under the influence.1 Presently before the Court is the defendants' motion for summary judgment under Fed.R.Civ.P. 56(c).
