Plaintiffs, Steve and Charles Shaw as partners in the Shaw Brothers Packing Company, and defendant, contractor Bridges-Gallagher, Inc., entered into a contract for the construction of a slaughter and meat processing plant. Defendant then hired a subcontractor, McDevitt Roofing, to install the roof of the plant. Defendant completed construction of the plant in 1980, but the roof subsequently...
