The appellant was convicted of robbery in the first degree and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole pursuant to the Alabama Habitual Felony Offenders' Act.

Deborah Langley, an employee at Discount Food Mart, testified that at approximately midnight, on October 16, 1986, she observed three black males enter the store. She testified that she observed the males at the cigarette counter, pulling cartons of cigarettes out of the holders...
