Appellant, Granville Thomas Rose, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Cecil County (Rollins, J. presiding) of unlawfully bringing into Maryland 100 pounds or greater of marijuana (Count I), possession of marijuana in sufficient quantity to reasonably indicate under all circumstances an intent to distribute (Count II), and knowingly transporting a handgun in a vehicle (Count IV). He was sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment for Count I...
