The sole issue in this appeal is whether the trial court erred in holding that the jury's verdict was excessive and in ordering a remittitur.

Glennis T. Robinson sued Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (Old Dominion), to recover damages for injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle collision.
