This is a review of a decision of he court of appeals1 which affirmed the conviction of Kevin C. Crowley (Crowley) in the circuit court for Crawford county, Michael Kirchman, circuit judge, for the crime of aggravated battery, in violation of sec. 940.19(3)(b), Stats. We affirm the decision of the court of appeals.

Section 940.19(3)(a) and (b), Stats., provides:

"(3) Whoever intentionally causes...
