On May 12, 1983, a jury, after finding decedent fifty percent negligent, awarded plaintiff $150,000 in this design defect products liability case. A judgment along with $58,878.96 in interest was entered on July 22, 1983. On November 4, 1985, the trial court denied defendants' renewed motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or in the alternative for a new trial and a motion for a directed verdict....
