On April 21, 1988, Front Street Properties, a New York general partnership, ("Front Street") and Drabbant Enterprises, Inc. ("Drabbant") filed a lawsuit against the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company ("A & P") seeking a preliminary injunction and declaratory relief.
