In this diversity action, plaintiff First National Bank of Amarillo, Texas (the Bank) sued defendant Southwestern Livestock, Inc. (Southwestern), a Kansas livestock auction house, for conversion of certain cattle in which the Bank had an interest as an unperfected secured creditor.
