This action is before us for the second time. In the previous appeal, 73 Or.App. 684, 699 P.2d 1176 (1985), Knappton Corporation (Knappton) had been granted a summary judgment on the ground that respondeat superior did not apply and, therefore, that it was not liable for the negligence of its employe, Eubanks.
