W. EUGENE DAVIS, Circuit Judge:

Carol Wassum, a police dispatcher for the City of Bellaire was brutally raped by a fellow police officer, John Casey. The district court entered a default judgment against Casey on Wassum's section 1983 suit but dismissed the city, its mayor and police chief on summary judgment; Wassum appeals this summary judgment. We find no error and affirm.
