OPINION

CANNON, Justice.

The jury rejected appellant's not guilty plea to the misdemeanor offense of carrying a weapon. The trial court assessed punishment at confinement in the Harris County Jail for ten days, plus a $500 fine. In two points of error, appellant contends the trial court erred in refusing to suppress oral statements he made after his arrest, and claims that his equal protection rights were violated when the prosecutor struck all black veniremen...
